Darul Eiman Epsom—a long-cherished dream of the Muslim community living in the Double Grammar Schools Zone of Central Auckland.

The suburbs of Epsom, Remuera, and Parnell have long lacked a permanent Islamic center or mosque. While temporary prayer spaces (Musallahs) have been used, they often vanish when residents move. This highlighted the urgent need for a permanent Islamic center—a place where we can establish prayer, build community bonds, impart Islamic knowledge, and foster spiritual growth for generations to come.

Darul Eiman Epsom has been aptly acronymed as DAEIE which in Arabic means a person who calls towards Truth and Islam.

About DAEIE

The Objectives of Darul Eiman Epsom (DAEIE):

Establishing a Masjid for daily prayers, Jumu’ah, and Islamic gatherings.
Providing a Madrasah for children to learn the Quran and Islamic studies.
Organizing lectures by renowned scholars and offering opportunities for spiritual development.
Implementing the five key practices (Masjidvar Amal) to strengthen faith in the community.
Serving as a hub for future Islamic activities in Central Auckland, including plans for a Grand Mosque, a Darul Uloom, a Halal hub, and an Islamic Library.

The Prophet ﷺ said

“Whoever builds a mosque fo Allah, Allah wil build for him a house in Paradise.”

(Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)

Though we are starting with humble beginnings, with your support and, most importantly, the help of Allah (SWT), we are confident in our ability to achieve these goals and establish a thriving center of Islamic activity.
